After waiting nearly a decade for that *perfect* Ibizan, Java came to me from Lisa Puskas of Paradise Ibizan Hounds in May of 2005.   He was worth every minute of the wait!! He is a fun loving guy who has a desire to please and a sweet goofy personality.   He has surpassed my every expectation...  He finished his Nat'l/Int'l JA JHA titles in record time with numerous group wins and placements.  He finished his AKC Championship in style with three majors.  He finished his UKC Championship with a Group win and multiple group placements.   Java passed his Canine Good Citizen Test the first try with flying colors.  He loves to please and does his heeling, sits and downs with enthusiasm!  BUT- you would never know that he is a perfect gentlemen if you take him to the coursing field... There he loses all obedience and bounces around at the side line SCREAMING for his turn to chase the "bunny".   If you should meet us at a lure course, you are most likely to hear us before you can see us!!  In coursing he is incredibly fast, agile and screams in true Ibizan fashion the entire run!      

Java is out of CH Paradise As Good As It Gets "Pepsi" and Special Acres' Image of A Winner JC "Winna".  Pepsi is a Top Producer of Champions and the sire of multiple group placing DC Unigus She's Like the Wynd SC, and World champion Multi CH Paradise Ahram LoseYrslf in Me "Hunter" among others.  I hope Java will follow in Pepsi's paw prints and become a multi champion producer in the future.

 Winna is a Producer of Champions and littermate to multiple Dual and World Champions.  She is also littermate to the 2007 Ibizan Hound National Best of Opposite Sex and 2007 Westminister Kennel Club BOS winner CH Special Acres' Image of a Gent JC.  Most Special Acres' dogs are titled in lure coursing and excel in it.  Java has an AKC Best In Field win to his name.     

Java's movement is completely sound.  He has a beautiful head which many have remarked as bearing a striking resemblence to his great grandsire, Westminister Best Of Breed winner "Titan" Am/Can/Mex/Int CH Bramblewood's Piece O'Paradise.  His head is distinctly masculine yet preserves that dear like elegance the Ibizan is known for. 

Java has a "by the book" front assembly, with well laid back shoulders, straight upper arms and a prominent breastbone.  His rear angulation is moderate and balances his front beautifully.   He has the correct hare foot with well arched toes.  His coat is short and rough in texture and lacks an undercoat.

Java is litterbrother to "Nyra" CH Paradise is Rhythm In Motion SC FCH, the 2005 Ibizan Hound National Best Of Winners. 

Java was #16 Ibizan Hound in breed points in 2006 with very limited showing!  Currently we are taking a break from the breed ring and working on our AKC Dual Championship.  Java just finished his ASFA FCH!
